Whether art depicts life or life depicts art, museums are always wonderful places to meditate, to reflect and to appreciate art in any form, whether on paper or on canvass.
As part of celebrating the International Museum Day, the Ayala Museum in Makati City will be holding a free admission on May 19 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Registration starts at 12 noon.
Aside from opening all the galleries for free, the Ayala Museum will also hold a free storytelling session for kids from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and an art fair from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
This year’s theme is Museums as Cultural Hubs: The Future of Tradition, which aims to highlight the significant role of museums in their respective communities.
This may be your last chance to visit the museum for free because the museum will temporarily close down for a one-year long renovation.
