The Valenzuela city government has set up a vaccination site exclusive for workers under the A4 priority group.

The dedicated lanes at Pasolo Elementary School started operations on Wednesday. It will be open 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., subject to scheduling per company.

Mayor Rex Gatchalian said all employees of Valenzuela-based companies will be accommodated.

“We designated industry vaccine sites because the volume of workers being processed is very big per company and we don’t want our industry-based clients to crowd out,” Gatchalian said in an interview Wednesday.

The city government urged all companies in the city to submit a list of their employees who are willing to get vaccinated and email it to [email protected].

After the listing, workers must register individually online at valtrace.appcase.net, which will provide the schedules per company.

“In the industry vaccination site, instead of individuals being given appointments, it’s the corporations being given appointments. In their respective appointment, the company can bring their employees in batches at their own pace so that we don’t hamper their operations,” Gatchalian said.

The vaccination of the city’s industry workers through the Corporate Group Appointment System ensures the companies’ operations would be unhampered, while the protection of workers from Covid-19 is guaranteed.

The city government said it will strictly abide by its appointment system so that the available vaccines will be efficiently managed.

It will also ensure that health protocols are observed. (PNA)
