Dunkin’ Philippines, a coffee and doughnut company, has introduced their newly designed service bot ‘Number 1’ at their select branch stores in the country.

As of writing, Dunkin’ Robot Number 1 can be seen serving at Dunkin’ Aurora, SM North EDSA, and Robinsons Nova.

So, how does Bot Number 1 work? First, customers will place their orders and pay at the counter before proceeding to their allotted table. Next, Number 1 will approach the customer’s table and offer them the food and beverages they ordered. Lastly, the service crew will command the bot to leave the area once done.

Dunkin’, for instance, is looking for alternative ways to serve customers that restrict human contact during the coronavirus outbreak.
