Every election period, celebrity political endorsements have been a normal aspect of the month-long electoral campaign. Celebrities aren’t staying silent when it comes to who they are rooting for in the election- making the celebrity-politician tandem a regular staple of election cycles.

There’s no doubt, it became a highly anticipated feature during campaign seasons, and now, with the long-existing lists of celebrities who publicly declared their support to the official candidates, the latest addition is the Lunch Out Loud (LOL) host, Billy Crawford.

In an uploaded Instagram video on March 28, Billy endorsed the presidential bid of his fellow “That’s Entertainment” star, Manila Mayor Francisco Moreno Domagoso who is vying for the Presidential position.

In his minute-long IG post with the caption #IskoAko, the singer-host has initially mentioned the nearing 2022 election and brought out how we have been recovering since the pandemic affected the country.

According to him, “Hindi magiging madali ang trabaho ng mga officials na iboboto natin. They’ll decide how we will rise above this challenge” and that “maraming nangangarap at maraming nangangako”, thus, he wanted to make his own stand on this coming election emphasizing that he wanted a change not only with words but with actions.

Officially endorsing his presidential bet, Billy then conclusively said “kaya, ako, sa darating na Mayo masasabi ko, Isko ako”.

The former ‘It’s Showtime’ host and Manila Mayor Isko have long been ‘friends’ and ‘brothers’ since their appearances on a variety show broadcast ‘That’s Entertainment’ under the mentoring of the late ‘The Master Showman’ German Moreno.
