Isabelle Daza, an actress and TV host, is also known to netizens as a member of the It girls squad, along with Anne Curtis, Solenn Heusaff, and Georgina Wilson. If these girls have one thing in common, it’s that they’re all married to foreign men.

Daza is married to Adrien Semblat, a French businessman. Curtis married Solenn’s brother, French chef Erwan Heusaff. Heusaff is married to businessman Nico Bolzico from Argentina, and Wilson married British businessman Arthur Burnand.

Netizens are curious as to how they married foreign men. Some even wondered if it was one of their friendship goals or something they had planned ahead of time. To dispel those rumors, Daza finally revealed why they ended up marrying foreign men during a conversation with vlogger Wil Dasovich on his podcast Superhuman, which is available both on Spotify and YouTube.

When Dasovich asked her what the difference was between dating Filipino men and dating foreign men, she responded, “Western guys are less romantic and flowery in a sense that they’re very straight to the point. They’re not gonna cover the ground with roses and basically layer it with chocolates and stuff. Whereas Filipino guys are all about big, romantic gestures. That’s really sweet, too. I appreciate both. Sometimes I wish the Westerns would learn also but they’re very practical.”

She also stated that she and her friends do not choose to have foreign husbands by going online and scrolling down to see hot French guys and sexy Argentinian guys. Before marrying foreign men, they dated Filipino men first.

If Daza learned anything from her foreign husband, it’s to be practical, to be concerned about how she spends her money, and to be straightforward enough to avoid complicating things in a relationship.
