In a bustling karinderya, a remarkable act of kindness was captured in a social experiment when a tattooed man caught the interest and sparked discussions among netizens about stereotypes and humanity.

On Sunday, July 28, 1 of a Knd, a Facebook page uploaded a video that garnered 1.6 million plays and 104 thousand reactions.

The scene was set in a busy karinderya filled with hungry patrons eagerly waiting in line for their meals. Among them was a man who approached the counter, trying to buy a meal of rice and sabaw. He hoped the tindera would grant him the sabaw due to his lack of funds to buy a proper meal. However, she declined, explaining that the sabaw was reserved for other customers.

As the man in need faced this disappointment, an unexpected hero emerged among the indifferent crowd: a heavily tattooed man, already seated and eating his meal, overheard the conversation.
He paused his meal without hesitations, reached into his pocket, and offered money to the struggling man, ensuring he could afford a proper meal.

This touching gesture captured the hearts of the netizens in the comment section of the video. “Not all heroes wear capes; sometimes they just have tattoos. Spread the love!” a commenter said.

“Minsan ang mga taong may tattoo, sila pa ang may ginintuang puso.”

“Ito ‘yun. ‘Di basihan ang may maraming tattoo. Kung sino pa ‘yung madumi sa paningin ng iba, siya pa ang may malinis na puso. God bless to you, sir,” another user commented.

The video ends with a heartwarming note: “In a world where you can be anything, be kind.”
