5. Punctuality Is The Best Policy

The early bird gets the worm, or in this case, the salary raise. Go to work not on time, but before the official work hours actually starts! Don’t just come in early (your boss is not going to pay you just because of attendance, you know) — finish your tasks accurately and early. One thing that I’ve heard from several employers is that they’d rather have an employee that’s always there, always ready and available for tasks rather than a smart one but comes to work late and passes requirements after the deadline. Time is money! And in a company, money comes is when jobs are done on time or before the deadline!
