After being refused to experience higher education in Poland, Marie Sklodowska moved to France to study science. She met her husband, Pierre Curie in France, and became revolutionary scientists.

Marie Curie is known for discovering ‘radioactivity’, a term she coined after experimenting on a glow coming from uranium salts. Because of this, she became the first woman to win a Nobel Prize in Physics.
