SM Investments Corporation (SM) received a Gold award for its 2018 Sustainability Report for the second consecutive year from the National Center for Sustainability Reporting (NCSR) in the recently held Asia Sustainability Reporting Rating (ASR Rating) 2019 in Indonesia.
The award is given to companies that successfully communicate their annual sustainability performance through comprehensive reports aligned with the standards of the Global Reporting Initiative. Only two Philippine companies were awarded – SM and hydropower energy company, San Roque Power Corporation.

“Congratulations to SM Investments Corporation for its 2nd GOLD Rank Award. Our ASRRAT 2019 Jury, composed of professors from various universities as well as practitioners and experts within the ASEAN region, has found SM’s report to be in accordance with the GRI Standards, thus the recognition,”Dr. Ali Darwin, Chairman, National Center for Sustainability Reporting said.
