Committed to reinforce traffic regulation and enforcement in key cities and municipalities in the Philippines, Grab Philippines has partnered with the city government of Manila to provide transparency and accuracy in reviewing discussions between the enforcers of the Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau (MTPB) and traffic violators.

Grab Philippines President Brian Cu and City of Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso recently signed a deed of donation where the country’s everyday everything superapp turned over 200 “No Parking” signs and 50 body cameras for the use of traffic enforcers. These are to be distributed within heavily congested roads of the city to improve compliance to the city traffic management codes and reduce time spent on traffic violation disputes.

In support of the implementation of Manila Ordinance No. 8092, also known as the “Traffic Management Code of the City of Manila”, the signs and cameras will promote public safety for the city’s drivers and passengers by allowing rules and regulations to be enforced with honesty.
