City Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (CIATF) chairman Mayor Noel Rosal is inviting every qualified resident here who wants to avail of the vaccination program for coronavirus disease (Covid-19) to enlist as the electronic immunization registration continues.
Rosal, in an interview on Tuesday, said “Duman po sa mga gusto na magpa-schedule sa pagba-bakuna. Igua na po kita nin apat (4) na celfon numbers, na puede nindo hapudan o mas marhay i-text nganing mi confirmation kan saindong text message. (For those who are willing to be scheduled for the vaccination, we have four cellphone numbers that you can call or text to confirm your messages).”
The following are the numbers to be texted by individuals who belong to priority groups A1, A2 and A3 or the healthcare workers, senior citizens, and persons with comorbidities, respectively: GLOBE – 0966 876 9598 and 0966 876 9588; SMART – 0947 860 8617 and 0947 861 1186.
Rosal assured the public that text messages would be replied to and that the Legazpi City Covid-19 Electronic Immunization Registry would be contacted for final confirmation of schedules.
Hundreds of senior citizens already received the vaccines at the Legazpi City Convention Center, SM City Legazpi, Liberty Commercial Center (LCC) Main, and Pacific Mall from May 13 to 15.
“At least 560 senior citizens received the inoculation aside from the 421 last week,” Rosal said.
The CIATF continued to remind the public to heed the public health standards, such as wearing face mask and face shield, physical distancing of at least one meter, and placing foot dips or mats at entrances.
Mandatory contactless taking of body temperature, frequent hand sanitation, and setting up hand washing stations should also be done, the mayor said.
“Disinfection of frequently touched surfaces should also be done regularly during the day or during breaks,” Rosal added. (PNA)
