This Christmas season, the Hard Rock Cafe and Tony Roma’s located at Roppongi, Tokyo, will offer several Filipino desserts for the month of November and December.

Both restaurants will serve famous Pinoy Christmas dishes like bibingka, ube cheesecake, and biko.

On November 6, the Official Facebook page of the Philippine Embassy in Japan posted a series of images featuring the board of directors from Hard Rock, Tony Roma’s and more.

“The project intends to keep the Philippines top of mind in the travel plans of the Japanese public when international borders open and tourism travel returns to normal,” Philippine Tourism Attaché Niel Ballesteros said during the event.

While Philippine Embassy in Japan Chargé d’Affaires Robespierre L. Bolivar hoped that through food, “We are able to promote in Japan a deeper appreciation of our rich cultural heritage and encourage all of you to further explore the Philippines and know the Filipino people more.”

Earlier, in the month of April, the PH Embassy together with Hard Rock and Tony Roma’s restaurants had a campaign titled “Meet Philippines” featuring Filipino food like Chicken Inasal Sandwich, Pancit Bihon, and Banana Turon with Mango Sauce. It was a successful campaign that sold more than 1,000 servings to the Japanese audience.
