Vietnam Airlines, the flag carrier of Vietnam, is set to launch direct flights connecting Manila with Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City starting June 17. This Facebook announcement offers travelers more convenient options to travel between the Philippines and Vietnam.
Prior to this launch, Vietnam Airlines operated flights to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with layovers. With the introduction of these new direct routes, travelers can enjoy a seamless travel experience between Manila and two major cities in Vietnam.
The Manila-Hanoi flights will operate three times weekly, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Meanwhile, the Manila-Ho Chi Minh City flights will operate four times weekly, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
To celebrate the launch, Vietnam Airlines is offering promotional roundtrip tickets starting at VND3,549,000 or approximately PHP8,000. The purchase period for this promotion is until June 23, with the travel period starting from June 17 to June 23.
Additionally, there is a separate promotional offer for the opening month, with a travel period until July 17. Roundtrip flights from Manila to Hanoi are available for USD208 or approximately PHP11,800, while roundtrip flights from Manila to Ho Chi Minh City start at USD174 or approximately PHP9,900.
