Kendra Kramer opens up about her aspirations as a swimmer, her thoughts on entering the showbiz industry, and the goals she hopes to achieve in the future in her first Metro cover.

The eldest daughter of Doug Kramer and Chesca Garcia-Kramer, Kendra channeled her model and fashionista self in a sporty-inspired shoot that reflected her plethora of athletic talents. She has dipped her toes in jiu-jitsu, ballet, and other sports but ultimately found her passion in swimming.

“One thing that’s different about swimming than a team sport is that if you know you’ve worked hard, if you know you put in the time and the effort, you won’t have to doubt yourself because you’re not relying on other people,” she shared in the exclusive Metro story.

As someone who grew up in the public eye, Kendra expressed her gratitude to her parents who helped her navigate through the ins and outs of being under the spotlight.

“I’ve learned that my support system is my parents and God. I don’t want to be easily swayed by social media and the things I see online. And then just knowing my anchors in my life and making sure that I know who I am because, at the end of the day, I’m the one who knows myself best,” said Kendra.

When asked if she wants to follow in the footsteps of her mom and uncle Patrick Garcia’s showbiz career, the student-athlete said, “Maybe. If there’s like a nice project, I will talk to my parents about it. I’m not saying no because you never know, right?”
