ABS-CBN Films reports a strong start as its latest project, “Meet, Greet & Bye,” hits P120 million global gross as of November 17.

It debuted internationally in Australia, New Zealand, and various countries in the Middle East on November 13 and in the US, Canada, and Guam last November 14. Over the weekend, the film also commenced screenings in the UK, Ireland, Austria, Italy, and France.

The film also has upcoming screenings in Papua New Guinea starting November 20, Greece on November 22, and Spain beginning November 23. Other territories in the lineup are Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, and Brunei this month and Cambodia on December 12.

“Meet, Greet & Bye” earlier posted P85 million domestic earnings in the box office after its first five-day run in the country commencing last November 12.

The family drama stars Filipino actors Piolo Pascual, Joshua Garcia, Belle Mariano, Juan Karlos, and Maricel Soriano and was directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, the director behind the Philippines’ highest-grossing local film of all time, “Hello, Love, Again.”

Its story revolved around four siblings who are doing everything in their power to grant their mother’s dying wish to meet her favorite Korean idol, Park Seo-Joon.
