In line with the observance of Women’s Month, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) has lined up activities aimed to benefit women.
Among these is the start-up hub inside the TESDA Complex, from March 9 to 31, that will “showcase the products of micro entrepreneurs who are graduates of technical vocational education and training,” TESDA Public Information Office Director Floramel Joy Songsong told the Philippine News Agency in an interview on Wednesday.
Graduates of TESDA Technology Institutions (TTIs) will also participate, enabling them to showcase and sell their products to TESDA personnel and learners.
The other activities include the “Serbisyo para kay Juana,” which is available at the central office and some regional offices, and the health and wellness information program on March 25 at the main office that will feature breast cancer awareness forum and breast examination.’
“Similar activities will be conducted in other regional and provincial offices as well as TTIs,” Songsong said. (PNA)
