Filipina Beauty Queen Alexandra Faith Garcia made history in Philippine pageants as the first Filipina to win the Miss Aura International title.

The Olongapo beauty queen was crowned Miss Aura International 2021, held at Rixos Sungate in Antalya, Turkey on October 3, 2021. “WE DID IT PHILIPPINES! Your Miss Aura International 2021!” she shared while flaunting the crown.

It was Garcia’s ultimate dream to walk and represent the Philippines in the International pageant. In an Instagram post, she shared that while joining the said pageant, she experienced all her firsts.

“I was appointed as the “first” ever Filipina to compete in this year’s Ms. Aura International,” she proudly said.

“Travelling to Turkey, I need to get a visa and it was actually my “first” ever Visa. I had my “first” ever long flight and my “first” ever International travel all by myself,” Garcia continued.

Moreover, she also said that she was actually the “first” candidate to arrive at the venue in Antalya, Turkey, and literally the “first” candidate in line, making her candidate number one.

“Today, in my “first” ever International Pageant I was crowned as the “first” ever Filipina in Ms. Aura International,” Garcia added.

Garcia was never new to this kind of competition as she joined Mutya ng Pilipinas in 2014 and Binibining Pilipinas in 2016 and 2020. She brought her exemplary performance in the national pageant to the international stage and aced all the pageant’s activities which made her suit the crown.

“Being crowned as Miss Aura International 2021 is my ultimate dream, and I will forever treasure this moment. I will always be grateful that I brought joy and pride to my compatriots and to my beloved country. I will forever carry the Philippines sash across my heart,” Garcia concluded.

Aside from Garcia, the other four stunning beauty queens who bagged the crown include Alexandra Strue (Romania, 1st runner-up), Katerina Pidkopai (Ukraine, 2nd runner-up), Maria del Mar Meza (Colombia, 3rd runner-up), and Cassandra de Sousa (France, 4th runner-up).
