Just in time for the holidays, Kärcher, the world’s leading provider of efficient, resource-conserving cleaning systems recently completed the restorative cleanup of UNESCO World Heritage Site San Agustin Church and Museum as well as its adjacent convent, Convento de San Agustin.

The newly refreshed church is ready for the Filipino Catholic tradition Simbang Gabi and other Christmas festivities. At its six-day cleanup, Karcher cleaning expert Thorsten Moewes (left photo) used hot water high-pressure cleaners that emit gentle steam with no harmful chemicals to preserve the centuries-old structure’s delicate façade.

The cleanup is part of Kärcher Cleans the World campaign. As cleaning specialists, Kärcher has been actively involved in supporting the preservation of historical monuments and buildings, free of charge. Kärcher has already demonstrated its experience and expertise on over 100 restoration projects around the globe, including the Rizal Monument in Manila.
