A Memorandum of Agreement was formally signed between Baliuag University and the Pandi Municipal Government on Monday to provide free law studies for all qualified local government unit (LGU) employees.

Under this agreement, the LGU will bear all expenses for the Juris Doctor (JD) program, including tuition, miscellaneous and academic-related fees, allowances, and other support for qualified LGU-Pandi employees.

According to Mayor Enrico Roque, the program’s goal is to provide employees with the opportunity to study law without financial constraints, enabling them to serve the citizens of Pandi better and more competently.

Engracia Mauricio, a municipal employee, expressed gratitude for the program.

“Mayor Roque doesn’t want us to stand still; he wants us to develop more professionally and increase our knowledge related to providing public services,” he said.

Evelyn Martin, the Public Market Administrator in Pandi, added that the initiative gives them more confidence and inspiration. “The help to us is greater, we are very inspired. Thank you very much for such initiatives because the benefits are not only for us but also for the entire town,” she said. (PNA)
