Cambodia has officially launched its “My 2nd Home” program that offers qualified applicants a 10-year golden visa.

The new visa program provides unrestricted entry and exit to the country and an option to apply for Cambodian citizenship after five years. This is the only pathway for one to apply for a Cambodian passport.

The golden visa is geared toward attracting wealthy foreigners and foreign professionals to stay in the country and boost foreign investment.

Applicants for the program should be a foreign investor with an investment capital of not less than USD 100,000 in Cambodia, own a real estate project approved by the government of Cambodia, be a citizen of a country or region approved by the Cambodian government, and must be 18 years old and above. There’s no language competency test or academic standing qualifications needed to apply.

The complete details on qualifications and how to apply for the Golden Visa are available on Cambodia’s “My 2nd Home” official website.

The “Cambodia My 2nd Home” program is an initiative launched by the Khmer Home Charity Association (KHCA) in partnership with the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The partnership aims to maximize both parties’ resources to energize the country’s economy and improve Cambodia’s overall lifestyle.

“Khmer Home Charity Association will provide both caring and flexibility to all the investors who became a member of our association, and we also make Cambodia legitimately your second home,” Chairman of the Khmer Home Charity Association H.E. Nov Sokpheap stated on the website.

He assured them their association would offer full support and a long-term commitment to lead the program and all the donors and organizations to show the value of sharing and caring.

Foreign investors planning to avail of the Golden Visa will also benefit from the services offered by the Khmer Home Charity Association membership, which includes but is not limited to healthcare protection and VIP packages.
