Chef RV Manabat Schedules Book Signing Session At MAFBEX

Chef, restaurateur and culinary educator Chef RV Manabat will have a book signing session at the Manila Foods and Beverages Expo (MAFBEX), the country’s largest gathering of food experts and eager young professionals, at the Benilde Pavilion at the World Trade Center on Sunday, June 19, 2022 from 3pm to 5pm.

Author of bestselling and award-winning books Baking Secrets and More Baking Secrets, both volumes share tried and tested recipes to satisfy sweet cravings.

An alumnus of the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde’s School of Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management (SHRIM), Chef RV took up a Postgraduate Degree in Boston University Major in Food, Wine and Cheese Studies.

To hone his skills, he regularly visited Belgium, Brazil, Italy, Japan, Spain, Thailand and South Korea, to name a few, to attend workshops and seminars from experts and names to reckon.

He then imparted his knowledge to young students at his alma mater and eventually established his own learning institute, along with his self-named café, in his hometown, Biñan, Laguna.

Today, he continues to accept orders in his booming cafe business to loyal patrons from the neighboring cities and beyond. He regularly produces informational video tutorials on Youtube.

To date, Chef RV currently has 1.3 million Youtube subscribers, 1.6 million Facebook followers and 220k Instagram followers.
