Filipinos have always been keen to lend a helping hand, especially in times of need. This has been proven over time as our country has faced numerous adversities such as super typhoons, floods, volcanic eruptions and this time, a global pandemic – COVID-19.

Times like these have seen ordinary Filipinos turn into heroes. Just like the current COVID-19 situation we are facing. Our brave healthcare workers and other frontline workers have been doing a fantastic job in serving our country ever since the COVID outbreak begun. Their dedication and sacrifices in fighting the deadly virus are truly something to admire.

Though it’s very unfortunate that despite our frontliners’ heroic acts, some of them have succumbed to the deadly virus due to lack of equipment and facilities that will support them in fulfilling their sworn duties.

Many Filipinos are made aware of the difficulties our healthcare workers are dealing with right now which inspired some of our fellow Filipinos to volunteer and help our frontliners by providing them the things that they need such as food, transportation and even medical equipment.

A group of employees in ‘Steeze Design Studios’ have decided to spend the lockdown period inside their office to produce Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that will be distributed to healthcare facilities and its workers.

Helping, indeed is in our DNA! Let’s support all the frontliners and cooperate with the government’s mandate to stay at home and together, we can overcome the COVID-19 pandemic.
