A new look for Emily in the works of âDevil Wears Pradaâ Sequel?
Recent behind the scenes photos from the set of âDevil Wears Prada 2â surfaced, revealing actress Emily Blunt with a shockingly different hair color.
Filming of the sequel began on June 30, and it didn’t take long before stars from the movie â including Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streepâ were spotted on set, giving us glimpses of whatâs about to come, fashion and plot-wise, on May 1, 2026 once the sequel is released.
Latest developments unveiled a new look for Emily Bluntâwho plays the chic and sassy former assistant of Miranda Priestly (Merilyn Streep), Emily Charltonâwhere she is seen rocking a platinum blonde wavy bob.
Fans of the original movie remembered Emily wearing her signature fiery red bob, complimenting her chic and feisty character. When the sequel started filming, she was first seen with the same bold red-haired look that the fans knew and loved.

However, fans were shocked when she surfaced on the set, revealing a bright blonde bob. Her new look was a stark contrast from her old one, intriguing fans of what to expect when the new movie hits the theaters.

Blunt was seen wearing her shoulder-length blonde bob, complete with a contrasting dark root, together with a red Coach sweaterâfashionably torn to style, with letters NY splashed across the frontâ and chic sunglasses. The actress paired it with a black miniskirt and tights, finishing the look with ankle-length socks and burgundy platform leather loafers.
Could this hint at a new bold plot for Emily? Or could it be that sheâs made it into Paris? Either way, a whole year is still up to anticipate whatâs coming. Only one thing is certain, this hair change could suggest a major shift for Bluntâs character.
