Facebook boosts its mission to stay users connected amid the coronavirus outbreak with the newly launched Messenger Rooms.

Messenger Rooms is Facebook’s answer to the widely-used video conferencing software called Zoom.

The latest update highlights its ability to cater 50 participants with no time limit. And what makes this even better is, you can join without a Facebook account.

Thanks to Messenger Rooms, you can now organize events, hang out with friends, and catch up with your relatives while complying with the quarantine protocols.

Invite friends, family, or loved ones by simply creating a Room on Facebook or Messenger then send them the link to the house party.

Messenger Rooms will soon be introduced on Instagram, WhatsApp, and Portal.

First rolling out in “some countries”, expect Messenger Rooms to be in the next updates soon.
