One week after being diagnosed with the coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19), husband and wife Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are now released from the hospital.
According to a source, they are currently under self-quarantine in their home in Australia.
The actors were on their way to the pre-production of an untitled Elvis Presley film when they tested positive for COVID-19 a few days ago. Tom Hanks will be portraying the manager of the Rock n’ Roll King, Colonel Tom Parker.
Another Hollywood actor who recently tested positive for COVID-19 is Thor actor Idris Alba. In his latest tweet, he said that he got tested last Friday and received the result today. He also assured the public that his wife, Sabrina, is “doing okay”.
This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing ???? No panic. pic.twitter.com/Lg7HVMZglZ
