2025 is sure to be exciting as three of the most influential K-pop groups are set to return and excite fans once again! The upcoming projects of BLACKPINK, 2NE1, and BTS are highly anticipated around the world, as they’ve undeniably made a mark not only on the K-pop industry but on the global music scene overall.

BLACKPINK

In a recent video announcement, YG Entertainment founder and producer Yang Hyun Suk declared that K-pop girl group BLACKPINK will be making their most-awaited comeback next year.

Additionally, the group is expected to embark on their next world tour in the same year. BLACKPINK visited the Philippines in March 2023 during their “Born Pink” world tour at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.

With members Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé, BLACKPINK has won fans over with their charming personalities, impressive performances, and instant hits like “Kill This Love,” “As If It’s Your Last,” “How You Like That,” and more.

Though further details on BLACKPINK’s comeback are yet to be announced, BLINKs are already thrilled to hear the good news.

2NE1

2nd-generation stans are celebrating once again with the announcement of 2NE1’s official reunion as a group!

In the same video announcement mentioned earlier, Yang Hyun Suk confirmed that all 2NE1 members have gathered to do a concert tour in commemoration of their 15th anniversary this year.

Starting in Seoul this October, the world tour will continue with stops in Osaka and Tokyo from November to December. Afterwards, 2NE1 will be visiting more countries in 2025.

On May 17, 2NE1 shared new group photos to celebrate their debut anniversary, bringing joy to long-time BLACKJACKs. They also reunited for a performance during the 2022 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, surprising everyone with their unexpected reunion.

Although it has been years since 2NE1’s disbandment was announced in November 2016, the members have remained active with their solo careers under different companies.

Now, as they prepare to tour together after a long hiatus, K-pop fans are eager to support their group endeavors.

Composed of CL, Dara, Minzy, and Park Bom, 2NE1 is considered one of the pioneers of the Hallyu Wave, having released iconic songs like “Fire,” “I Don’t Care,” “I Am The Best,” “Come Back Home,” and more.

BTS

To everyone who’s been missing BTS, there’s no need to worry because they will be coming back as a group in less than a year!

According to BigHit’s statement before the members enlisted in the military, BTS is set to reunite in June 2025. Leader RM also reassured fans in a Weverse livestream last year that they are eager to hold their comeback in 2025.

Although it remains uncertain when and what kind of activities the group will undertake upon their return, just the thought of seeing the members together next year has ARMYs super excited.

Until then, some members have remained active with their solo music releases. With Jin’s recent military discharge, fans are even more attentive to the group’s future projects.

Over the years, BTS has gained a huge following for their remarkable discography and exceptional performing skills. Consisting of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, BTS has produced hit songs like “Boy With Luv,” “IDOL,” “I Need U,” and more.

As 2025 approaches, the return of BLACKPINK, 2NE1, and BTS promises to bring an exhilarating year for K-pop fans worldwide. With each group preparing to make a significant impact through new music and tours, anticipation is at an all-time high.

Whether it’s BLACKPINK’s highly awaited comeback, 2NE1’s nostalgic reunion, or BTS’s long-anticipated return, the upcoming year is sure to be filled with unforgettable moments and exciting developments in the world of K-pop.

Surely, their fandoms are very much excited about these most awaited comebacks!
