Collaborations across multiple agencies have been crucial in boosting the education sector in this province, a school official said Thursday.

During an interview, Elvira Caliao, head teacher of the Lanao del Norte National Comprehensive High School, noted that their school was one of the recipients of provincial and local government partnerships with national agencies.

“One significant milestone is the 21st Century Learning Environment Model Classroom (CLEM) with the support of the province and the Department of Science and Technology,” she said.

Key to the CLEM is its cutting-edge technology, making it the first facility of its kind in Mindanao, which it opened in May.

Caliao said there are still other projects allocated to the education sector through multi-agency partnerships, including additional classrooms and support for teachers and students.

Meanwhile, 1st District Rep. Imelda Dimaporo announced the completion of the multi-purpose building at the Geronima Cabrera National High School in Kolambugan municipality.

She said the project was part of the Special Education Fund, which was allotted during her time as governor. (PNA)
