While most people are concerned about stray dogs, cats, rabbits, and other animals, it is relatively unusual for someone to be concerned about insects.

When cockroaches start flying, they are regarded with disgust or even fear, and it is typical to kill or harm insects as a response to hostility, but that was not the case for this great guy in Thailand who brought a cockroach to a clinic for treatment.

Dr. Thanu Limpapattanawanich, a veterinarian from Krathum Baen, Thailand, saw an odd case. According to the Facebook post, the man saw someone tread on the unfortunate bug on the roadside and instead of allowing it to die, he took it to the Sai Rak Animal Hospital for medical treatment.

“Emergency case last night. Someone stepped on a cockroach lying on the side of the road. Just then, a philanthropist walked past and saw it. So, he rushed to take him to the veterinary hospital urgently. Symptoms are now 50/50,” Thanu wrote on Facebook.

He clarified that this is not a joke, but rather a gesture of compassion and understanding for the man in question.

Thanu said that every life is valuable and that he wishes there were more individuals like him in the world. Although it is unknown whether the cockroach survived, netizens applauded the man for his thoughtful act.
