Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) urges the public to be more cautious when booking travel services during the community quarantine implemented across the country.

This include sectors such as airlines, hotels, resorts, theme parks, travel agencies, etc.

In a statement released on Monday, PTAA addressed the travelers to check that no payment would be wasted through hidden charges, no-refund policies, and rebooking fees.

“If it’s too good to be true, it’s probably not true,” PTAA wrote.

The association added, “Do not make any payment until you are thoroughly satisfied and assured of delivery of services in timely fashion.”

It also reminded travelers to ensure that the business is accredited by official authorities such as the LGU of the destination, PTAA itself, etc.
