There’s no denying that the coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has taken a toll on all aspects of life from the present to the future. What was deemed normal before is now treated with health and safety precautions.

With the ‘new normal’ at bay, it gets agitating that we are clueless about what is in store in the coming days. Whether you’re a concert-goer, a fun-run enthusiast, a traveler, life is generally different now.

Which is why, this TikTok video of resort staff bid their emotional goodbyes to their last batch of guests resonates.

The tourist spot is reportedly closing down due to the pandemic.

These employees aren’t the first ones to wave goodbye to their day-to-day responsibilities.

Just like everybody, COVID-19 has affected these people’s lives dramatically. We are looking forward to the day medical laboratories find a cure to the world and go back to at least how things were.

However, even after discovering a vaccine, it is absolute that life after COVID-19 would remain strange compared to our lives pre-pandemic.

That doesn’t mean we are going to stop looking forward for a better tomorrow, though.
