Spider-Man fans have been rejoicing after news dropped that Spider-Man will stay with Marvel studios for a little while longer. After the whole Marvel VS Sony dispute which caused quite a ruckus among its fans, many feel like a weight has been taken off as their favorite superhero remains in the MCU.

Marvel’s Kevin Feige, the producer of Spider-Man’s completing entry to its trilogy states that “Spider-Man is a powerful icon and hero whose story crosses all ages and audiences around the globe. He also happens to be the only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes, so as Sony continues to develop their own Spidey-verse you never know what surprises the future might hold.”

Dani Di Placido of Forbes writes, “So, I’m conflicted. Sony’s output is as consistent as a coin toss, while Marvel remains strong and steady, but constrained by the uniform tone of their cinematic universe. Marvel is unlikely to create something as boldly creative as Into The Spider-Verse, but they probably wouldn’t have released a turn in the wind like Venom either.”

So, are you excited that Spidey has returned or would you have wanted to see Sony take a shot at it?
