STI College was recently recognized at the 58th Anvil Awards for its initiatives to provide learners a world-class and holistic learning experience in line with its commitment to mold future-ready graduates. The institution received two (2) Silver Anvils for the STI Social Media campaign and the STI SCOPE (Student’s Career Opportunity and Personality Evaluator) program.

Cultivating an engaging and youth-oriented online community

Recognizing the importance of student interaction especially during the height of the pandemic, STI transformed its Official Facebook fan page into an online community where students can connect with each other, and bond with their peers and teachers. Through enriching digital content and activities, STI was able to foster a sense of belongingness among students and guide them amidst the changes in the learning setup and environment.

Guiding young Filipinos to career success

The STI SCOPE, an online personality assessment tool, was developed by STI to guide students choose the ideal track/course and career based on their strengths, weaknesses, and personalities. It also features helpful career-establishing articles, insightful tips from industry professionals, and a planning worksheet. With these, students can make informed decisions regarding their educational and professional paths even at an early stage, which can be valuable to their future success.

“We are honored to have our student-oriented programs recognized yet again at the Anvil Awards. At STI, we continue to uphold a holistic learning experience for our students to mold them into capable, well-rounded, and future-ready individuals. And with the help of these tools, we are able to do that despite the challenges that were brought by the pandemic to the education landscape in the past three years,” said Aisa Q. Hipolito, STI VP for Academics.

Presented annually by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), the Anvil Awards recognizes outstanding public relations programs, tools, and practitioners in the country. The 58th Anvil Awards Gabi ng Parangal was held on March 8, 2023, at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, Pasay City.
