Guinness World Records released a video of the Turkish man named Mehmet Ozyurek who has the longest nose recently recorded on the planet.

Ozyurek created the world record in March 2010. His nose was measured on the set of the television show Lo Show Dei Record in Rome, Italy. Measuring from the bridge to the tip of his nose, Ozyurek’s nose has a length of 8.8 cm.

According to the Guinness World Records, Ozyurek is not the only record holder of the world’s longest nose in history. In fact, in 1770’s the first longest nose recorded belonged to a guy named Thomas Wedders, a circus performer from Yorkshire in the 18th century, whose nose was 19-centimeter long.

However, since he is no longer alive, Ozyurek now holds the record for the longest nose on a living person.
