Rejoicing over the rich history of one of their most popular specialties for nearly a decade, the city of Vigan drew thousands of local and international visitors to join the city’s annual celebrations. With a wide array of restaurants, chefs and other enthusiasts displaying their own recipes for Vigan’s own sausage in cook-fests and street fairs, the festival aims to recognize the uniqueness of the longganisa and market them more broadly and safely.
