A netizen who is claiming to be a local buyer in Landers posted a video expressing his frustration with how the purchased goods were packed by the said store.

For many shoppers in the Philippines, Landers Superstore has become a popular destination for a unique shopping experience. They have two types of memberships: Premium and Business. The annual fee ranges from ₱700 to ₱900. One of its advantages is that the grocery offers a wide range of high-quality local and international branded products. They also offer various discounts and haircuts to their members, too.

Just recently, Lourd Ramos shared his sentiments for how Landers packed their grocery items into boxes that are close to being torn apart. Many local shoppers who also commented on the TikTok post have noted that Landers and another well-known retail store have a specific way of packing purchased goods.

“Pag-Membership shopping talaga, you need to bring your own shopping bags. Also, Landers have ecobags, so hindi nya afford to buy one? Mukha tuloy syang ignorante and cheap,” said a netizen on Reddit. A lot of negative comments revolved around Lourd being entitled and cheap as he always has the option to bring an eco bag.

But there were people who also agreed with his point about how the goods were packed, that what Lourd was trying to pinpoint was how it was ‘improperly’ packed contrary to what he got used to. “pag madalas ka sa puregold, macocompare mo talaga,” a Redditor said.

Lourd recently turned his account private after posting a follow-up video wherein he stated that people should stop commenting on his post and work instead so they have the money to buy coffee and rice.
