Here’s a little recap:

In July 2019, she was slammed for uploading a vlog in which she was “doctor-shaming” after an unsatisfactory experience in Dapa Siargao Hospital.

The Popstar Royalty further elaborated that she was disappointed due to receiving insensitive remarks as well as a delayed attendance from Dra. Esterlina Tan. Her husband, Yan Asuncion, suffered from a cliff-diving accident at the time.

After being under fire by the netizens, the MMFF 2019 Best Supporting Actress later issued an apology on Facebook.

But that isn’t the conclusion to the story as 6 months later (December 12, 2019 to be exact), justice was served on a hot plate when she’s given a warrant of arrest.

Despite being filed in December, this issue only incited reactions after a now-deleted post made its rounds online on January 9. According to the series of scanned documents published, Yeng is facing cyberbullying and cybershaming charges.

“Hello fellow doctors. This is posted with consent from Dr. Esterlina Tan. She is asking for help from the medical profession because there was no action to the said warrant dated December 12, 2019 for Ms. Yeng Constantino,” the Facebook post started.

As stated, Josephine E. Constantino (her real name) has violated the R.A. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012) in relation to Article 355 of the Revised Penal Code.

“The bail bond posted is hereby fixed at P30,000.00,” the document continued.

Yeng has yet to release a statement regarding the lawsuit. According to a source, she is still clueless about the charges. In the meantime, here’s how the netizens think about the news:
