Vocal harmony group The CompanY celebrates its 40th year in the industry with a new multi-genre and multi-era album called “Beautiful Day.”
It is the 30th album of the singing quartet composed of Annie Quintos, Moy Ortiz, OJ Mariano, and Sweet Plantado.
“We made it to album 30! Profoundly grateful to God, all the record companies, record producers, songwriters, and arrangers who said yes to every single step forward. Lastly, thank you to our loyal audience who have kept us good CompanY for the long run,” said The CompanY.
The new album has 10 reimagined songs and a bonus track including the title track “Beautiful Day,” “I Will Sing Forever,” “Shine,” “Shout For Joy,” and “Lead Me Lord.”
It also features the key track “You’re My Home” and their version of “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” featuring Bituin Escalante, “Of All The Things,” “One More Gift,” and “Love Is The Answer,” which has an extended house remix.
The CompanY was formed in 1985 with members from the Ateneo College Glee Club. Prior to “Beautiful Day,” they released another multi-genre album, “Gitna.”
